WELCOME TO THE BLS 4-PERSON EXECUTIVE COUPLE SCRAMBLE
PROCEDURES FOR EACH MONTH
Objective: We have introduced a points system to ensure fair play and equal opportunities for everyone.
Our event is open to all BLS neighbors who wish to foster friendships through a friendly neighborhood game. Kindly reach out to any neighbor you believe might be interested in joining us!

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS
Point System:
- 2 POINTS - Each participating couple earns 2 points per month. Please bring a completed score card and the corresponding fee to our house.
- 3 POINTS - for the first-place team
- 2 POINTS - for the second-place team
- 1 POINT - for the third-place team
- 2 POINTS - Picture Points: Earning 2 points for emailing team pictures (selfie or ambassador taken) with your names each month to Sharron.These pictures will be featured on our website.
Points will accumulate as couples participate, and all contributed money will be pooled together. The details will be included in the monthly newsletter. At the end of the season, the top four point earners will receive cash prizes based on their accumulated points. These prizes will be handed out at the social event. You do not have to attend the potluck to receive your winnings.
Season: Our season will run from September to April.
Money: Each couple will pay $2.00 per month ($1.00 per person in the team). All funds collected from the games will be saved and distributed in May during the Potluck Social. This pot will be accumulated each month and reported in the newsletter, leading to a grand total.
Charitable Donations: An optional charity mulligan of $1 per player per game is available to contribute to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. This amount does not go into the pot but will be donated to the hospital.
Potluck Social and Prizes: We will hold a 2025 Potluck Social, and the prize money accumulated over the season will be distributed. In addition, we will have fun games with BLS Golf trophies and other prizes to be awarded at the social event.
GAME RULES
Each player will tee off from the designated tee, with the team selecting the best shot. The game continues in this fashion until the ball is holed. No gimmes are allowed. Once the ball is holed, no further shots will count towards the team's score.
If the ball selected is on the green, players putt from a point within 1 putter head of the ball, no closer to the hole. If the ball is off the green, players hit their next shot within 1 club length of the ball, no closer to the hole. If the ball is in the rough, bunker, or hazard, players hit their next shot in the same condition.
Men play from the Gold Tees and Women from the Green Tees.
Each foursome must use no more than 5 tee shots from any one player. There is no obligation to use a tee shot from every player.
Each couple is equally responsible for scheduling their monthly match with the other team, as well as arranging the day and tee time. If your team cannot play for any reason, please call a substitute couple.
Completed scorecards and $1.00 per person, along with any mulligan contributions, must be delivered to the McAdams' house at 1393 Blease Loop and placed in the collection box at the front door no later than the end of the first day of the following month.
